Scot is an active member of the Pacific Northwest community. As a graduate from EWU he has helped develop many valuable infrastructures for people and communities. He has been on the Washington Dig Safe Board for many years and is an active member of the Common Ground Alliance.(https://commongroundalliance.com/)
He founded the NUCA chapter in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
